Bring Your Own Beard to this Arts and Crafts Festival June 22, 2013 Austin Texas
Here is a great craft fair, art show and costume and Beard Contest. Not really sure why but the have a juried contest for beards. Add some beer, tunes and a juried arts/crafts fair and let's party down. This even is free and open to the public.
Not for old farts, this BYOBeard party doesn't start until 6 pm and it keeps going until midnight.
You don't have to be a hairy guy to compete. Crafty beards of all kinds including paper mache will be sported by both sexes. Meet the members of the Austin Craft Riot and the Austin Facial Hair Club (I love this mash up). Live DJ, free treats lots of craft booths.
