All Shook Up

I was only gone for 5 years but I completely forgot what an earthquake feels like.

Well, now I remember! We had a 4.4 hit this morning about 8 miles away! A million thoughts at once - where's a safe place on the ground floor of an apartment building? Is this a fore-shock?

Just then all the memories of the '87 Whittier Quake came back and I realized that this was small as far as earthquakes go and that I better get used to it - this is SoCal living, like it or not.
