Crafts and Twitter

All this talk about Twitter made me curious. So I created a Twitter account and did some tweeting. It was fun although the point of it all seemed to escape me. Who cares what people are doing "right now" I wondered. Then it started to dawn on me....lots of people, just like you and me ARE interested.

Since marketing HandmadeCatalog.com is the most important part of our business I started exploring the possibilities of marketing the catalog through Twitter. There is a lot to learn but I think it worth it to the site.

If you use Twitter and have any advice on how to use it properly to help increase sales please let me know.

I have a personal twitter account but will probably create one just for HandmadeCatalog in the near future. If you would like to learn more about Twitter, click here: http://twitter.com/havasugal to go to my page or http://www.twitter.com/ for the main site.
