Havasu Bead Studio - Started in 2002 and still serving the beading community today! 

Owning a retail store is challenging even in the best of times. Take a global recession and a really small resort town and the challenge might unbearable....

Only a true passion for beads and real sense of community breaks through those challenges and provides our little town with a unique bead shop.

I found the Havasu Bead Studio when I moved to the lake in 2005. It was a great place to shop for beads and beading supplies but also for inspiration. 

I've long since moved to Desert Hot Springs in California, the great recession is way over and I was looking for a beading class in town. 

Then I remembered the bead shop near the lake. So, I dropped in to their website and yippee! They are still going strong. 

The shop is run Lisa Vitela, the owner of Havasu Bead Studio. Her passion for vintage jewelry inspired her ever-popular bead shop.

The Havasu Bead Studio is the only artist-owned bead store in the area. They opened in 2002 and have grown a lot over the past 16 years. They have free classes and their massive inventory will inspire you!
